Weathernews original Infra
Weathernews has an original observation technology called WITH radar. This Doppler radar determines the speed of clouds carrying rain and snow, and when there’s precipitation, it judges whether it’s rain, or snow. The WITH network consists of 80 radar units.
Resource Management Decision Support Service
We provide weather forecasts and snow removal taskforce deployment simulation plans to road operators. We have our own snow forecast model. Based on the forecasts, we simulate several options for snow removal machinery deployment plans. Workforces and machines are deployed to locations where snowfall is forecast.
Driving Weather Service
We disseminate road weather information for expressway users. We provide pinpoint data on the current and forecast weather, road and traffic conditions. These services are provided in multiple languages.
