Single-lane loading for snow hauling in the urban area
A snow blower that enables single-lane loading has been developed to mitigate traffic hindrances and to improve the safety and efficiency of snow hauling in urban areas.

When snow is loaded for hauling without this type of snow blower, the snow blower and the dump truck work side by side, taking up two lanes of the road. A snow blower that enables single-lane loading mitigates traffic disruptions.
When snow is loaded for hauling with a snow blower that enables single-lane loading, the snow blower and the dump truck run in the same lane, minimizing traffic disruption and maintaining operational safety.
Simultaneous gritting and liquid salting
On winter roads in cold, snowy regions, abrasives and salt are spread to secure the necessary skid resistance.
This machine secures a safe driving surface by spreading salt and grit to improve the skid resistance of slippery winter roads and to mitigate the occurrence of winter icing on roads in cold, snowy regions. Gritting and salting on Route 40 (Nakagawa, Hokkaido Pref.)
Sidewalk snow removal for pedestrian safety
To secure pedestrian safety, small snow blowers are deployed for sidewalk snow removal.
The securing of road width and snow-banking space at the shoulder
When fresh snow is removed or snow on the road is graded smooth, the snow is left in piles at the roadside, which decreases the effective road width. Before the next snowfall, the effective road width is increased by using a grader or a blower to scrape these piles away or shoot them beyond the roadway. Snow piled at the roadside is pushed onto the roadway using the Mackley of a snow removal truck. The snow blower then blows the snow beyond the roadway to increase the effective road width.

Echelon plowing of new snowfall
In echelon plowing, two or more snow removal trucks operate on the same road in formation, like a flock of geese in flight. It’s highly efficient, and it quickly makes the road trafficable again.
On expressways, overtaking is prohibited while snow is being removed by plows in echelon formation. General traffic follows the snow removers, which occupy both the regular and overtaking lanes.
It can overtake the snow removers at parking areas, service areas and turnouts for snow removers. Echelon plowing on Route 4 (Aomori, Aomori Pref.)
